New: Learn and experience digital transformation and Manufacturing 4.0 in a practical way
The virtual learning factory enables universities and colleges to simulate a virtual factory and at the same time use the data in a variety of ways via open web interfaces.
Teaching plays a central role in the fourth industrial revolution – after all, the foundations for the professions of the future are laid here. The interdisciplinary nature of the degree programmes is essential for training Industry 4.0 experts. FORCE Bridge combines IT and engineering sciences.
Today’s research ensures tomorrow’s competitiveness and innovative strength. New technologies create markets and jobs. In particular, the industrial internet of things and artificial intelligence are two major drivers of growth and digitisation. With FORCE Bridge, we combine precisely these two technologies.
Industry is facing one of the greatest upheavals in its history. Digitalisation is coming with full force. From small to large – all awake companies understand the opportunities and possibilities it brings. With the FORCE Bridge platform, we support companies in mastering the entry into the digital age.
Model your own production processes and scenarios independently. Through visualisations of your virtual factory, you can immediately see status changes in production and what effects they have on the entire manufacturing process.
Develop applications for the industrial internet of things. With full access to production data, you can develop entirely new business models. From the smart factory app for the smartphone to applications for VR data glasses, you define the boundaries.
The virtual factory offers the possibility to easily generate a wide variety of production data that is generated in reality. From master and movement data to machine and process data. In this way, individual production processes can be simulated.
Our FORCE Bridge API gives you access to over 300 standardised production data for creating digital applications. Easy and user-friendly access via open web interfaces REST.
In a basic version, you can use the Virtual Learning Factory for demonstration purposes and for initial production scenarios. In this way, your students can learn how a factory of the future will function. A prefabricated factory master data set is available to you, with which students, especially those majoring in computer science, can work in a variety of ways via open web interfaces – for example, to create factory apps themselves and to call up prefabricated production processes.
If you want to create your own production worlds or scenarios, we are also happy to provide you with an individual learning factory. This can be done either on your own servers and our licence-free software, or in the Azure Cloud on the basis of a discounted university subscription with Microsoft. Then you can virtually model your very own manufacturing processes. If you have your own physical learning machines available, you can connect them as well.
